Do not take risks.
Do not stop to collect belongings.
Do not re enter building.
Do not use lifts.
Before retiring to bed you should know the following:
1. The nearest means of escape.
2. The nearest fire alarm call point and how to operate it.
3. The procedure for calling the Fire Brigade.
4. Ensure all the doors to and from corridors are kept closed, they are installed as a barrier against fire.
