“Hero of Oxford’s triumph in the Milk Cup final last season. He scored one goal made two and took man of the match award. The 28 year old midfield star was Jim Smith’s first signing when he joined from Southampton in March 1982. Trevor is known as “Smiler” because of his permanent grin.”
