There are no obvious manufacturer details or branding apart from the words “Professional Tools” – time will tell how true that is! I suspect its origins are al most certainly China. Apart from where a previous delivery label had been removed, the outer packaging was in pretty good condition but not something you could advertise as brand new by any stretch.
On opening the package it soon became apparent that the support handle was absent. The bolt that would secure said handle in position was however present and I’m sure I’ll be able to bodge something together if deemed important but it can be screwed down at the base to hold in place instead. The rest of the parts, the important ones are all present and correct and assembly was fairly straightforward. The weight is listed as 1.46kg and it feels pretty sturdy.
The angle can be adjusted by simply loosening off the support legs by twisting from the rubber knobs on the top and then retightening. The height can be adjusted and locked also. The springs allow for resistance to stop the drill just dropping down so you just need to press downwards on your drill with minimum force.
This drill stand was listed at auction with an RRP of £22.85. This seemed to be reasonable as the exact same model is available on Amazon for slightly more and a very similar looking bit of kit is on Temu for a bit less. The price I paid was considerably less than both of those, so even taking into account the missing handle I am pleased with this item, it’s definitely a keeper. So far so good, but if or when it falls apart and is no longer fit for purpose I’ll let you know.

At the right price I will definitely purchase more units if they become available for possible sale at a carboot sale or on Ebay. Below are the original sales images if you are looking for similar.
