A 10 pack of these was recently sold on Ebay for £11.99 including free postage, a saving of approximately £14.50 on what they would normally have been sold for including delivery.
The Ebay fees were as follows:
Insertion fee = £0.36
Final Value Fee = £2.08
Regulatory Operating Fee = £0.05
Postage Cost = £2.50 Total Selling Costs = £4.99
So, after delivery costs and deducting Ebay fees we were left with £7.00. I won’t call that profit as it isn’t.
As a percentage of the selling price the Ebay fees were 100 x (4.99/11.99) = 41.6%.
