After a break of roughly 40 years I am back on the water!
Since shutting down my safety signage business and semi-retiring I have had a lot more time to concentrate on doing things with my spare time.
Canoeing and kayaking have become a passion over the last year and in this section I will be sharing details of the vessels and trips completed and planed along with some photos and videos.
When I’m not on the water or at the pub trying to play darts I am also attempting to tackle some new hobbies and projects such as crafting, gardening and DIY.
I have never had a natural talent or desire to be proficient in any of these areas but I’m hoping a bit of trial and error will lead to something that will become a passion.
In the meantime I continue to bodge my way through, learning from my own experiences and mistakes rather than learning to do things properly!
All of the above interests can require a reasonable financial contribution but being a naturally frugal person, I obviously aim to minimise any expenditure as much as possible.
With this in mind I am always on the lookout for a bargain which has created a another time-filler for me – bargain hunting for liquidated stock, customer return and over-stock products.
Although the sign shop has now been closed for a few months, I still have a few clearance items left.
All remaining signs are available at substantially reduced prices so why not browse the shop and let me know if there is anything you would like to take off my hands before I turn all of the signage into plant pot markers.
Many of the items are available to purchase via Ebay and I have included links in some of the product descriptions for these.
